Indianapolis Colts at Miami Dolphins

The Indianapolis Colts will go for their 11^th straight regular season victory on Monday night in Miami as they face the Dolphins.  The streak sounds impressive but really means little since the Colts lost in the opening round of the playoffs last season.  Indianapolis was not very impressive in their opener but was able to get by a weak Jacksonville Jaguar’s team 14-12 last Sunday.  The Dolphins meanwhile were routed in Atlanta last week by the Falcons.

Indianapolis is a 3-point favorite with a total of 42 at SBG Global.

The Colts will rely heavily on Peyton Manning and wide receiver Reggie Wayne on Monday.  Wayne had 10 catches for 162 yards and will be featured since the Colts are without slot receiver Anthony Gonzalez.  The Colts under Peyton Manning have had a lot of success in September, winning 18 of their last 21 games.  They have also won seven of their last eight Monday night games overall.

The Dolphins were totally shut down last week against Atlanta so they will try and get a lot more offense this week against the Colts.  Miami has the toughest schedule in the league this season so getting a win at home on Monday is really a necessity if the Dolphins want to make any noise in the AFC East.  Miami has been a great team in home openers going 31-11-1 all-time.
