ESPN college football on Friday night has the Toledo Rockets hosting the Colorado Buffaloes as each team looks for their first win of the season. The Buffs disappointed their followers last week as they lost at home to rival Colorado State while Toledo lost at Purdue.

Colorado is a 3.5 point favorite with a total of 54.5 at SBG Global.

Colorado was expected to be better this season but made the same mistakes under head coach Dan Hawkins they have been making for years in last week’s loss to CSU. Toledo quarterback Aaron Opelt set a school-record with 67 pass attempts last week and completed 41 of them for 423 yards. He had three TD passes but two interceptions. Stephen Williams had 15 catches for 185 yards and two scores. The problem for the Rockets was their defense that gave up 535 yards to Purdue including 315 on the ground. Colorado secondary coach Greg Brown was impressed by Toledo’s passing game. “They`re a nightmare for a secondary and for a pass defense,” Brown said.
