Bodog’s 2009 Emmy Awards Odds

If you’re having an Emmy party, or just want to make a little extra dough, the Bodog Sportsbook has the latest Emmy odds for the 61st annual award show. Leading the pack with 22 nominations, NBC’s 30 Rock has the best comedy edge for bettors (4/9), followed by best drama nominee, the 1960s advertising saga Mad Men (4/7), which has 16 nominations. Now competing with cult classic Flight of the Conchords (5/1), Tina Fey’s 30 Rock has won in the comedy category the past two years.
For the reality TV category, Dancing with the Stars (20/29) and Project Runway (3/1) are your best bets. Project Runway, Heidi Klum’s show that follows fledgling fashion designers as they compete to make the most inspired runway creations, has already earned the prestigious Peabody Award.
Other categories include Best Variety, Music or Comedy show, with Saturday Night Live given 5/4 odds and The Colbert Report at 1/1. Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show has been given a respectable 7/4.
